This biodegradable food decontaminant works across the whole logistics operation, from growing through processing and storage to end use. Its antimicrobial properties also provide care and sanitising protection to the peripheral equipment used within the food industry.

While enabling ‘clean-label’ status, this organic and environmentally sustainable formula can help improve the quality of produce at the retail level by increasing the shelf life of fresh-cut and open-structured foods, eliminating related potassium sorbate from all processed food and beverages and decontaminating fresh fruit and vegetables.

A viable alternative to the use of Chlorine, this product can be dipped, sprayed, and fogged to ensure complete protection across the whole food industry.

This product is a powerful antimicrobial, antiviral, and antifungal agent made from an orange’s pith and peel. And unlike some other antibacterial compounds, bioflavonoids are plant-based, non-allergenic, dermatologically tested, biodegradable, safe and eco-friendly.

Usage
The product has been used successfully by dipping, spraying and fogging techniques. Where large quantities of soft tissue produce (i.e., strawberries) must be treated, the use of a fogging technique has been found to give maximum utilisation efficiency (by factors of 3 to 5).

Recommended dilution varies between 0.5-4% subject to requirements. Please contact one of our Biotechnologists for more detailed information.
